Many platforms and access systems are designed and manufactured in Victoria by Star Aluminium. Some components, materials or accessories may be locally assembled or imported to meet compliance, supply and lead-time requirements.

Images are illustrative and may include 3D renders or show a closely related variant (e.g., a 5-step image on a 4-step page). Minor differences in finish or hardware can occur due to continuous improvement. For critical dimensions or features, please request a current confirmed spec sheet and/or a signed GA drawing before purchase.

Shipping & Delivery

No. We deliver to verified business/commercial addresses during business hours. Individuals are welcome to order to a workplace address. Alternatively, you can arrange depot pickup or collection from our Melbourne warehouse by prior agreement.

We ordinarily supply within Australia only. International orders are not accepted unless expressly agreed by us in writing in advance.

Timeframes depend on stock and warehouse location. Typical deliveries are ~3–7 business days. Custom or made-to-order items require additional manufacturing time. We will confirm estimates before dispatch and update you if timing changes.

The shipping line shown at checkout is a good-faith estimate. For bulky, custom or remote/limited-access deliveries, carriers may apply adjustments (e.g., oversize or remote-area fees). We will seek your approval before charging any additional amount. Minor differences may be adjusted or absorbed as outlined in our Shipping Policy.

Where our checkout offers more than one shipment option (e.g., different services or depots), you may select your preferred option. Choosing a different service may increase or decrease the freight cost shown. For special services (tail-lift, two-person, booked timeslot, Hi-ab), please contact us in advance so we can confirm availability and pricing.

Orders may ship from our workshop or directly from approved supplier warehouses (e.g., brand partners). Regardless of dispatch location, Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd remains the seller of record and your point of contact.

Orders, Pricing & Payment

Yes. Prices are in AUD and include GST unless otherwise stated.

We accept major cards, EFT and other methods shown at checkout. Our prices include our average cost of accepting supported payment methods; we do not add a separate card surcharge at checkout. If you request a non-standard payment method that carries exceptional processing costs, any fee will be disclosed in advance and charged only with your consent.

Card statements will generally show “Aluminium Platforms” or “Aluminium Platform”. Depending on the provider, you may see a descriptor referencing our company/trading names (e.g., “AKYUZ NOMINEES PTY LTD”) or the provider’s descriptor.

Yes. You will receive an automated order confirmation by email. A tax invoice showing our ABN is issued once payment is confirmed. The invoice may also display an operational trading name used under the same ABN; the seller of record remains Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd.

Specifications, Drawings & Compliance

If a specific dimension is critical (e.g., footprint, platform height, reach, handrail height, gate swing, castor type), please request a current confirmed spec sheet and/or a signed GA drawing before purchase. Measurements and weights shown online are approximate and may vary within normal manufacturing tolerances.

Products are engineered for workplace use and supplied with applicable specifications and guidance. Always use within stated load ratings and follow installation/operating instructions, site rules and WHS obligations.
