Crossovers & Gangways
Aluminium crossovers and gangways provide a safe bridging and access route over obstacles, pipes, conveyors, and equipment on industrial facility floors. They eliminate the need to step over or around hazards and reduce the trip and fall risk at floor-level crossing points. Gangway Bridges and Connectors
Star gangway bridges include a connector component which links gangway sections end to end to create longer runs. Trussed joiner brackets are used where additional structural span support is required between sections. The Gangway Bridge 5M provides a long-span aluminium crossing for facilities with wide conveyor lines or large pipe runs at floor level.
Star Platform Systems (STP)
The Star STP side platform units are the elevated side-access components used to create walkway systems alongside or over equipment. The Star ST22 STP Side and the Star PL30 STP Side are designed to integrate with Star stair platforms and landing platforms to create complete elevated access systems for process plant, conveyor maintenance, and overhead equipment servicing.
Industrial Gangway Applications
Food processing and beverage production lines, automotive assembly plants, chemical processing facilities, and warehouses with overhead conveyors use crossover and gangway systems to maintain safe foot traffic flow across the production floor. Fixed gangways eliminate improvised crossing behaviour that contributes to trips and falls at ground-level obstacles.
