Order Picker Ladders for Warehouse and Distribution
Order picker ladders are designed for high-frequency shelf access in warehouses and distribution centres. The defining feature is mobility: castors or wheels let the operator reposition the ladder quickly between picks without dismounting and carrying it. Brake systems lock the wheels the moment weight is applied, keeping the ladder stationary during use.
The range here covers aluminium order pickers from 1 to 4 steps. All models have a guarded platform at the top and a foot-operated brake that activates automatically when the user stands on the first step. This hands-free locking system is standard for warehouse environments where repositioning speed matters.
Applications
Distribution centres and retail back-of-house operations use these for high-shelf picking across long racking runs. Supermarket stock rooms, hardware stores, and automotive parts warehouses are typical environments. The compact footprint and easy mobility suit narrow aisle configurations where a full work platform would block traffic.
Load ratings
Most order picker models in this range are rated to 150KG. The aluminium frame keeps the unit light enough for a single operator to reposition quickly while remaining stable under load.
