Bailey Stairway Ladder Series
The Bailey Stairway Ladder is the primary commercial safety step in the range. It uses full-height handrails on both sides from the base to the top step, creating a safe enclosure for the user. The series covers 2-step to 5-step models. The large non-slip platform surface at the top gives a stable working base and the rails prevent inadvertent step-off to either side. These are widely used in retail environments, warehouses, archives, and any facility where falls from step access would be a liability concern.
Indalex Slimline Domestic Range
The Indalex 100 kg domestic Slimline is a household step stool with a single rear rail for hand support. Available in 0.6 m and 0.9 m heights, it is suited to kitchen and household use rather than trade applications. The slim profile stores easily and the fold-flat design allows it to slide behind a door or in a cupboard.
Compliance Considerations
Retail, aged care, hospitality, and public building managers often specify safety step ladders for staff access to shelves and service areas because the enclosed rail design reduces the chance of falls without requiring formal height safety equipment. The Bailey Stairway models are rated at 120 kg and meet Australian Standards for portable ladders.
