Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 30/10/2025

Welcome to aluminiumplatforms.com.au (the "Site"), operated by Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd (trading as Aluminium Platform Specialists) ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before completing any transaction.

Consumer notice: Our goods come with non-excludable consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.

1. Overview

AluminiumPlatforms.com.au supplies height-access equipment including aluminium ladders, scaffolding, platforms and accessories. Products may be supplied by our in-house manufacturer, Star Aluminium & Steel Welding, or other approved third-party suppliers. These Terms apply to all users and purchasers.

2. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including text, logos, images, designs, documents and product descriptions—is owned by Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd or its licensors/partners and must not be copied, reproduced, adapted or used commercially without our prior written consent.

2A. Accounts & Accurate Information

When creating an account, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you warrant that all information you provide (including name, entity, ABN/ACN, billing and delivery addresses, email and phone) is true, accurate and current, and you will promptly update it if it changes. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may, acting reasonably, request identity or business verification (for example ABN/ACN match, company documents, proof of address, phone/email confirmation) for fraud prevention and compliance. We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If verification is refused or cannot reasonably be completed, we may hold dispatch or cancel and refund undelivered goods to the original payment method, as permitted by law.

3. Product Information, Specifications & Best-Efforts Accuracy

We use reasonable care and best efforts to keep information (including pricing, images, measurements and specifications) current and accurate. However:

  • Images are representative and may differ from delivered items (e.g., minor finish, hardware or design updates).
  • Measurements, weights and other metric values are approximate and may vary within normal manufacturing tolerances, between production batches or due to continuous improvement.
  • Details, components and finishes may be updated at any time without notice.
  • Clerical/data errors may occasionally occur (dimensions, weights, images, downloadable documents, pricing). We may correct such errors; if an error materially affects your order, we will contact you with options.
  • Critical dimensions & drawings. Where a specific dimension/clearance is critical to your installation (e.g., footprint, platform height, reach, handrail height, gate swing, castor type), please contact us before purchase for a current confirmed spec sheet and/or signed GA drawing.
  • Third-party vendor content & feeds. Some specifications, manuals and images for non-Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd (Star Aluminium) and non-Staruiju branded products are supplied by independent third-party vendors. We take reasonable care in publishing this information, but it may occasionally include errors or be updated by vendors without notice. If a metric or feature is critical, please contact us for a confirmed specification/drawing prior to purchase. This does not affect your non-excludable rights.

3A. Vendor-Supplied Content, Manuals & Third-Party Materials

Some product descriptions, specifications, manuals, certifications, images and other materials on the Site are supplied by independent third-party manufacturers or distributors. While we take reasonable care in selecting suppliers and publishing information, we do not independently verify every item, measure, or feature for every SKU prior to listing. Accordingly:

  • Pre-purchase confirmation. If any metric, certification or feature is critical to your use (for example, footprint, platform height, load rating, compliance to AS/NZS standards, component brand, or installation method), please contact us before purchase for a current confirmed specification sheet and/or a signed GA drawing or certificate of compliance.
  • Standards & compliance claims. Where a listing refers to a standard (e.g., AS/NZS), that reference is based on manufacturer documentation. We can provide supporting evidence (e.g., test report, declaration of conformity or compliance plate details) on request. If compliance cannot be substantiated for your SKU, you may cancel prior to dispatch for a refund or otherwise receive an appropriate remedy.
  • Direct supplier content & derived/normalised data. Some listings, specifications, estimates (including ETAs) and manuals are supplied verbatim by manufacturers or distributors; others are compiled or normalised by us for clarity and consistency (e.g., AU-English localisation, unit conversions to metric, rounding within normal manufacturing tolerances, family-level summaries, or formatting/terminology edits). These presentation edits do not change the underlying product specification. Where a precise dimension, inclusion or certification is critical, please obtain a current confirmed specification sheet and/or signed GA drawing. If a material variance is identified, the remedies in this clause apply.
  • Corrections. If we identify or are notified of an error or omission, we will promptly correct the listing and, where the error materially affects an accepted order, we will contact you with options, which may include proceeding on corrected terms, selecting an alternative, or cancelling with a refund for any undelivered goods.
  • Imagery. Product imagery may be representative of a product family; variant photos can depict a different size or option. Optional accessories shown are not included unless expressly stated.
  • No exclusion of rights. Nothing in this clause limits or excludes your rights or our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law (including guarantees that cannot be excluded) or our obligations not to make false or misleading representations.

Visuals, Renders & Variant Imagery

Product visuals on the Site may include representative photos or 3D renders to illustrate a product family. Images may also depict a different size or tread/step count than the specific SKU (e.g., a 5-tread model shown while the selected SKU is 4-tread). The binding specification is the SKU details, spec sheet and/or confirmed drawing for your order. Optional accessories shown are not included unless expressly stated.

If any visual element is critical to your use (e.g., tread count, platform height, footprint, handrail layout, gate swing, castor type), request a current confirmed spec sheet and/or signed GA drawing before purchasing. If a material variance is identified after purchase, we will offer an appropriate remedy consistent with your non-excludable rights.

Material variance remedies. If, after purchase, there is a material variance from a key advertised specification, contact us promptly with your order number. We will offer an appropriate remedy having regard to the variance and product category, consistent with your non-excludable rights.

4. Orders & Payment

Orders placed on the Site are offers to purchase and remain subject to our acceptance. We may accept or reject any order acting reasonably (for example due to stock constraints, pricing/description errors, compliance requirements or suspected fraud). We may pause dispatch while we complete fraud checks or identity verification (see 2A). If verification cannot be completed within a reasonable period, we may cancel and refund any undelivered goods. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment in full is required before processing. Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout (e.g., cards, EFT).

Surcharges. Our published prices include our average cost of accepting cards and other supported payment methods; we do not add a separate card surcharge at checkout. If you request a payment method outside our standard offering that carries exceptional processing costs, any fee will be clearly disclosed before you pay, will not exceed our cost of acceptance, and will be charged only with your consent.

Payment processing & statement descriptors. Card payments are processed by one or more third-party payment service providers engaged by Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd. On your card or bank statement you will generally see the descriptor "Aluminium Platforms" or "Aluminium Platform"; however, depending on the payment provider and routing, you may instead see a descriptor referencing our company or trading names (e.g., "AKYUZ NOMINEES PTY LTD" or similar) and/or the provider’s own merchant descriptor. We may change our payment provider(s) from time to time without prior notice; descriptors may therefore vary. Regardless of the descriptor, the seller of record remains Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd (see clause 24).

Invoices & receipts. You will always receive a tax invoice that shows our ABN and identifies the seller of record as Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd. The invoice may also display our trading name (e.g., Aluminium Platform Specialists) or other operational identifiers used under the same ABN. Where a trading name appears on the invoice, it is used under the same ABN and the seller of record remains Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd.

EFT / bank transfer payee name. EFT payments may be directed to bank accounts operated under trading names used by Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd under the same ABN. Any such payments are deemed payments to Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd (see clause 24). If you require verification of account details prior to payment, please contact us.

Custom/Made-to-order. Deposits or progress payments may be required as advised during quote or checkout.

4A. Pre-Orders & Release Dates

  • Nature of pre-orders: Pre-order items are not yet available for immediate dispatch. Any dates shown are indicative and may change due to production or supplier constraints.
  • Delays & updates: If a pre-order cannot be supplied within a reasonable time, we will promptly notify you with options.
  • Your options: You may choose to (a) continue with a revised ETA; (b) switch to an alternative/specification where available (price differences will be adjusted); or (c) cancel the pre-order for a refund to the original payment method for any undelivered goods.
  • Deposits: Deposits or amounts paid for undelivered pre-order goods will be refunded if you cancel due to delay or if we cannot supply within a reasonable time. This is in addition to your non-excludable rights.

5. Pricing & Tax

All prices are in AUD and include GST unless stated otherwise. Shipping may be calculated at checkout or quoted separately depending on order complexity or supplier location.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We deliver only to verified business/commercial addresses within Australia. We do not deliver to PO Boxes or residential addresses (unless we expressly agree in writing). Items may ship from our workshop or directly from third-party warehouses.

Business Address–Only Deliveries

Individual customers may place orders provided delivery is to a business/commercial location that can receive freight during business hours. If a residential address is provided without our approval, we may cancel the order or offer alternatives (e.g., depot pickup) or a revised service/fee. Nothing in this clause limits rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

At checkout: by proceeding, you confirm the delivery location is a business/commercial site with safe access for the selected vehicle type. Additional services (tail-lift, two-person, timed booking, site induction) must be requested in advance and may affect cost and timeframes.

Service territory: We ordinarily do not ship or sell outside Australia. International orders are not accepted unless expressly agreed in writing in advance.

Shipping policy details: For full terms, service levels and regional coverage, please refer to our Shipping page.

What the shipping fee includes: The shipping charge shown at checkout generally includes the carrier freight plus reasonable operational/handling costs needed to arrange delivery (e.g., packing, staging, strapping/palletising, documentation and coordination). We display these amounts upfront as part of the shipping line item.

Estimated charge collected upfront: The shipping amount collected at checkout is a good-faith estimate based on weight/volume, destination and service level. For bulky, custom or remote/limited-access deliveries, the final carrier quote may differ. If there is a material difference, we will contact you to (a) approve the revised amount, (b) choose an alternative such as depot pickup or a different service, or (c) cancel for a refund. Minor differences may be adjusted or absorbed as outlined on our Shipping page. We will not charge any additional shipping amount without your express approval.

Receiving & access: You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive deliveries during business hours and that the site allows safe access for the vehicle type. Redelivery, waiting time, futile delivery or access-related charges may apply where relevant.

Multiple shipping options: Where checkout offers multiple freight services (e.g., standard road, tail-lift, express, depot pickup), you may select your preferred option. Selected options may increase or decrease total cost and timeframes. Where we arrange a different service to meet site requirements, we will seek your approval for any cost change.

Timeframes: Delivery timeframes are indicative (estimated) and depend on stock, location and carrier networks. For time-critical orders, please contact us before purchase so we can confirm availability and service options.

Tracking: We aim to provide tracking details for dispatched orders wherever possible. For bulky or custom deliveries managed through logistics partners, tracking may be limited—our team will coordinate updates by phone or email as needed.

Pickup: Pickup may be arranged by prior agreement from our Melbourne warehouse or an authorised depot. Please contact us to schedule and confirm load/vehicle requirements.

Note: The above delivery limitations do not affect any non-excludable rights you may have under Australian law.

7. Returns & Cancellations

7.1 Change-of-Mind Returns

Accepted within 14 days of receipt if items are unused, in original packaging, and resaleable. Return freight is the customer’s responsibility. Custom/made-to-order items are non-returnable. Approved refunds exclude original delivery/handling and may attract a restocking fee to cover inspection, repackaging and administration. Restocking fees and exclusion of original delivery/handling do not apply to faulty or misdescribed goods, consistent with your non-excludable rights under the ACL.

7.2 Order Cancellations

Cancellations require our written approval. Any cancellation fee will be reasonable and reflect our actual costs incurred (e.g., materials, labour, administration and supplier charges). Typical range 5–20%, capped to our reasonable loss.

7.3 Faulty goods & misdescription

Where goods are faulty or materially misdescribed, appropriate remedies (repair, replacement or refund) will be offered and reasonable return/transport costs will be reimbursed where applicable. Your non-excludable rights are not affected.

8. Warranty

Warranty coverage varies by supplier and product and is in addition to your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Mandatory ACL wording (goods): Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Mandatory ACL wording (services, if supplied): Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to have the services supplied again or to a refund if they are not provided with due care and skill or within a reasonable time, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Star Aluminium (manufactured and/or marketed by Star Aluminium & Steel Welding – Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd):

  • Lifetime structural warranty on aluminium components
  • 24-month warranty on general wear parts (e.g., wheels, bolts, bearings)
  • 12-month warranty on mechanical/moving parts (e.g., jacks, castors)

Warranties are back-to-base unless otherwise agreed. The customer is responsible for returning/collecting the product to/from the service location. Warranty claims require proof of purchase and a clear fault description. Misuse, improper installation or unauthorised modification is not covered. Where a failure is covered by your non-excludable rights, reasonable return/transport costs will be reimbursed.

Repair notice (if applicable): Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.

9. Security, Availability & Cyber Risks

We implement reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards for the Site. However, we do not guarantee the Site or servers are free from vulnerabilities, malware, viruses or unauthorised access, and we may suspend access for maintenance or security. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss, damage, unauthorised access, data breaches, service interruptions or other harm arising from events outside our reasonable control. This clause does not limit liability where such limitation is not permitted by law.

9A. Acceptable Use, Anti-Tamper & Fraud Screening

You must not access or use the Site in a manner that is unlawful, infringes intellectual property, or attempts to circumvent, alter or interfere with the Site’s operation. Without limitation, you must not:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile or otherwise attempt to derive source code; or modify/inject client-side resources including JavaScript, CSS or HTML to alter pricing, availability, checkout logic or account privileges;
  • Use automation, bots or scraping in a way that burdens or manipulates our services, or attempts to bypass rate limits, authentication or fraud controls;
  • Use stolen/unauthorised payment instruments or identities, or provide false account details.

We may void, refuse or cancel any order we reasonably suspect involves tampering, fraud or misuse; restrict or terminate access; and cooperate with payment providers and law-enforcement as required. Where undelivered goods are cancelled on this basis, we will refund any amounts received to the original payment method unless otherwise required by law.

10. Safe Use, WHS Obligations & Site Risks

You are responsible for safe selection, installation, use, inspection and supervision of products in your workplace and for complying with applicable work health and safety laws, standards and site rules. Without limiting the generality of the above:

  • Products must be used only as intended, within stated load ratings and on suitable surfaces, with all guards/handrails correctly fitted.
  • Users must be competent and trained; appropriate PPE and risk assessments (e.g., SWMS/JSA) are your responsibility.
  • Assembly, modification or installation must follow our instructions and any engineering guidance provided; unauthorised modifications void warranty and may create hazards.
  • You must inspect before each use and remove from service any damaged, excessively worn or unsafe equipment.
  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from site conditions, misuse, failure to follow instructions, inadequate supervision/training, non-compliance with WHS obligations, or unauthorised alterations. Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Maintenance, Wear & Lifecycle

Products include components subject to normal wear and tear (e.g., wheels, bearings, fasteners, castors, deck surfaces). Performance may gradually change over the product’s lifecycle due to reasonable/expected use and environmental exposure. You are responsible for following maintenance schedules and torque/inspection intervals we specify, replacing wear parts at appropriate intervals, and ensuring continued fitness for purpose before use. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for performance changes or failures resulting from ordinary wear and tear, lack of maintenance, corrosion, abuse, overloading, improper storage or environmental conditions.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of profit, opportunity or business interruption. Where liability cannot be excluded, and where the goods/services are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use or consumption, our liability may be limited—as permitted by law— to repair or replacement of the goods, supply of equivalent goods, or refund of the purchase price. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot be excluded or limited by law. Nothing in these Terms seeks to exclude or limit rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law; any limitation does not apply to the extent it would be unfair, prohibited or void under the unfair contract terms regime (effective 9 November 2023).

13. User Content & Reviews

By submitting reviews, questions or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and share such content for promotional or service-related purposes. We may remove content that is misleading, defamatory, offensive, unlawful or breaches these Terms.

14. External Links & Third-Party Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., freight providers, payment gateways, manufacturers). These are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, security, privacy practices or terms of third-party sites or services. Use of any third-party link is at your own risk and is governed by the third party’s terms. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

15. Information Currency; Errors & Omissions

We aim to keep the Site current and accurate, and we apply best efforts to correct errors or omissions promptly. For non-purchased items or general browsing, and to the extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for reliance on outdated or erroneous information. For purchased items where a material discrepancy is found between listed key specs and the delivered product, appropriate remedies will be offered. Where definitive, current specifications are required, please contact us for a confirmed spec sheet and/or drawing before purchase.

16. Typographical & Formatting Errors

Typographical or formatting errors may occur; we reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions without prior notice. If a pricing or specification error is identified after you place an order, we will notify you and provide options consistent with applicable law (e.g., proceed at the corrected price/spec, change the order, or cancel with refund).

17. Priority / Inconsistency

If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and any marketing material or product brochure, these Terms prevail. To the extent of any inconsistency with our Privacy Policy or any separate written agreement with you, the other document will prevail for its subject matter.

18. Privacy & Marketing Communications

Your use of the Site is subject to our Privacy Policy. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). If you opt-in to marketing, you consent to receiving occasional emails/SMS about products, offers and news, in compliance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You can unsubscribe at any time, and each message will include an unsubscribe method.

19. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the effective date and apply prospectively. Accepted orders placed before the effective date are not affected. Where material changes are made, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable; if you do not agree, you may cancel any pending order before the change takes effect.

20. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including supplier or carrier disruptions, strikes, epidemics, natural disasters, acts of government, or failures of utilities or telecommunications. We will take reasonable steps to minimise impact and resume performance as soon as practicable.

21. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia.

22. Supply Model & Drop-Shipping

We operate a hybrid supply model. Orders may be fulfilled directly by Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd (including under our trading names) or, where appropriate, drop-shipped from approved partner warehouses to improve stock availability and lead times. In all cases, products are sold to you by Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd; invoicing, customer service, returns and warranty handling remain with us (subject to any supplier-specific procedures communicated to you).

Brands & third-party vendors. Products manufactured by Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd and products sold under the Staruiju brand are part of our in-house/related offering. Other branded products offered on the Site may be supplied by independent third-party vendors. We remain the seller of record and your point of contact for orders placed on this Site. Where vendor-provided specifications or documents differ from our confirmed order documentation, our confirmed specification/drawing will prevail. Your non-excludable rights are not affected.

24. Contracting Entity & No Personal Liability

All sales and services are provided solely by Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd [ABN: 45 095 338 668] (trading as Aluminium Platform Specialists). For the avoidance of doubt, regardless of the brand or website used—including this site, aluminiumplatforms.com.au—the seller of record and contracting party is Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd. Payments received under any trading name operated under the same ABN are deemed payments to Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd.

We may operate under multiple trading names and websites; our e-commerce team administers sales, customer service and fulfilment on the company’s behalf. All company personnel—including employees and, where engaged, agents or contractors—act solely in a representative capacity and do not assume personal liability. Any claim or remedy must be brought against Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd only, except where not permitted by law. For clarity, this clause does not alter or imply the employment status of any member of our staff.

25. Indemnity (Customer Breach & Site Conditions)

To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify and hold harmless us and our personnel from any loss, cost, claim, liability or expense arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) misuse of the products; (c) unsafe or non-compliant site conditions or access; (d) failure to follow our instructions, maintenance schedules or drawings; and (e) your use of third-party installers or carriers. This indemnity does not apply to the extent a loss is caused by our negligence, wilful misconduct or fraud, or to the extent it would be unfair, prohibited or void under the unfair contract terms regime. Where you acquire goods as a consumer, this indemnity does not apply to the extent inconsistent with non-excludable rights.

26. Title, Risk & PPSR (B2B & Consumer Sales)

This clause applies to all customers. Nothing in it limits rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

26.1 Title. Title to goods passes to you only once we receive full cleared payment for those goods.

26.2 Risk.

  • (a) Business customers (B2B): Where we arrange shipment, risk passes when the goods are handed to our carrier (or your nominated carrier) at the point of dispatch. If you ask us to hold goods after they are ready for dispatch, risk passes when we notify you that the goods are ready and allocated to your order.
  • (b) Consumer customers (B2C): As a general rule, risk passes when you (or your nominee) take physical possession of the goods at the delivery address. Exceptions where risk passes earlier: (i) you arrange your own carrier or instruct us to release the goods to a carrier nominated by you; (ii) you provide authority to leave/unattended delivery instructions; (iii) you or your agent collect from a depot or our warehouse.

26.3 Third-party fulfilment (e.g., Indalex, Bailey): Some orders are dispatched directly by approved suppliers from their warehouses. The risk rules in clause 26.2 apply in the same way to those shipments. The seller of record remains Akyuz Nominees Pty Ltd; we will assist with carrier enquiries and coordination.

26.4 Trade credit or staged-payment orders (if approved; B2B only): This clause applies only to approved B2B trade credit or staged-payment arrangements. If any part of an order is supplied before full payment is received, you grant us a security interest in the goods (and their proceeds). You authorise us to register and maintain that interest on the PPSR and do what is reasonably required to keep it effective. Until paid in full, you must keep the goods identifiable and not grant any inconsistent security over them. If payment is not made, we may lawfully arrange recovery of unpaid goods on reasonable notice during business hours. No PPSR registration is made for fully prepaid consumer purchases or any lay-by arrangement (if offered, governed by separate lay-by terms).

26.5 Transit carriage, insurance & assistance.

  • We are not an insurer. Unless we expressly agree in writing, we do not arrange additional transit insurance beyond the carrier’s standard terms and liability limits.
  • Third-party fulfilment. Where goods are dispatched directly by a supplier (e.g., Indalex, Bailey), carriage is arranged under that supplier’s/carrier’s terms, including any limits or exclusions that apply.
  • Optional additional insurance. If you require additional transit insurance, please request this before dispatch so we can seek a quote from the carrier/supplier. Any extra premium is payable by you once approved.
  • Assistance with claims. We will provide reasonable assistance with carrier enquiries or claims, but we are not the insurer and any payment is subject to the carrier’s/supplier’s terms.
  • No exclusion of rights. If loss or damage occurs before risk passes under clause 26.2, we will arrange an appropriate remedy (repair, replacement or refund) as required by law. Nothing in this clause limits your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law or alters the risk allocation in clause 26.2.

27. Engineering & Site-Specific Use

Our drawings, compliance plates and spec sheets confirm product manufacturing parameters. Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not provide site-specific engineering, load certification, anchoring design, permits or installation sign-off. You are responsible for confirming site suitability, clearances, fixings and any required approvals. Where requested, we may offer site-specific engineering as a separate paid service.

28. Third-Party Installers, Carriers & Subcontractors

We may use subcontractors or logistics partners. Third-party installers and carriers act independently; we are not responsible for their acts or omissions beyond what the law requires. This does not limit any non-excludable rights you may have.

29. Assignment & Subcontracting

We may assign our rights or subcontract performance on reasonable terms without reducing your protections under these Terms. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our prior written consent (not to be unreasonably withheld).

30. General (Severability, No Waiver, Electronic Communications)

If any term is invalid or unenforceable, it is severed and the remainder continues in effect. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You consent to receiving electronic communications (including order confirmations, invoices and notices) to the contact details you provide.

31. Promotions, Discounts & Campaigns

From time to time we may run promotions, discount codes, bundle pricing or other campaigns. Promotional terms do not override these Terms and cannot limit your non-excludable rights, unless expressly stated and only to the extent permitted by law.

  • Promotions are time-limited, subject to availability and may be withdrawn or varied at any time before you place an order.
  • Eligibility, exclusions and any additional conditions will be set out in the campaign materials; rainchecks are not offered unless we expressly state otherwise.
  • Promotional prices apply only during the campaign period and to qualifying products/orders. Price changes outside a campaign may occur from time to time and apply prospectively; they do not affect orders already accepted.
  • Promotions are not transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash and may not be combined with other offers unless expressly stated.
