The Indalex PRODPF8 Dual Purpose heavy-duty fibreglass industrial ladder, commonly referred to as 'Up & Up', functions as a step ladder at 2.4M and can be converted into a straight ladder at 4.4M. As part of the Pro Series range, it is built using superior joining techniques for enhanced strength and durability, backed by a 5-Year Warranty.
Construction & Materials
The front section is fitted with solid aluminium rivets that resist loosening over time, while the rear section features three-piece rung joints for anti-twist stability. High-quality fibreglass channels and structural-grade aluminium steps combine to create a ladder that is both strong and lightweight, offering an excellent strength-to-weight ratio that makes it easy to manoeuvre without sacrificing durability.
Anodised aluminium components improve corrosion resistance, ensuring long-lasting durability and minimising dirt transfer onto surfaces for a cleaner work environment. The fibreglass material boasts high UV resistance and is non-conductive, making it suitable for environments with electrical hazards.
Stability & Safety Features
Synthetic rubber feet are angled for stability, featuring a capture bracket on the front section and rounded rear feet. The front foot is designed to sit flat on the ground, while the versatile rear curved foot adapts to various ground conditions. All feet are replaceable.
In A-frame mode, the ladder is equipped with a diagonally braced spreader bar and robust press-in clips that minimise ladder movement, allowing for quick transitions between A-frame and straight configurations. In straight mode, a swinging arm catch securely fits into a specially moulded gap at the top of the ladder. The full-width rear section tapers for improved stability.
Accessories
The top includes a blue copolymer hook for a paint can, enhancing efficiency by keeping paint easily accessible during work.
